Crock-Pot Turkey Chili is made in the slow cooker with three beans, lean ground turkey, bell pepper, yellow onion, seasonings and tomatoes. Top with whatever goodies your family enjoys including sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and tortilla strips.
This Turkey Chili is a family favorite for those chilly days through the winter. The simplicity and wholesome comfort makes this meal a real winner. We like to add beans to our chili to give more flavor and heartiness. The recipe also calls for ground turkey and V8 juice to give more nutritional value and less fat than a typical chili. Try our homemade Chili Seasoning and add this to the dinner lineup!
Crock-Pot Turkey Chili
Get slow cooking!
Begin by browning the ground turkey on the stove-top with a bit of olive oil and season with salt and pepper before adding to the crock-pot. Chop the onion and bell pepper and add to the crock-pot followed by all the beans, tomatoes, tomato paste, V8 Juice, hot sauce and chili seasoning. We like to prep this chili the night before so in the morning everything just gets dumped in the crock-pot before work and we can home with a zero hassle, warm, comforting family dinner.

It is about 10 servings. My family of 4 can eat it for two meals if that helps.

This is definitely chili weather and I had some ground turkey I didn’t know what to do with. I saw your recipe and I decided to give it a go. We usually use beef or venison. But this chili was delicious. I shared some with my daughter and her family and they loved it.

Yum! There is nothing better than a big pot of chili on a cold day! I love your list of topping too as we like to dress our bowls up with all the fun peppers and cheese too. This will be a tremendous dinner to carry through the winter months.

Always great to add some extra nutrients where possible and the V8 adds some great flavor also.

There’s nothing like a pot of chili going on the stove, even better a slow-cooked turkey chili that’s ready with little work!

Another yummy crockpot dish to add to my fall line-up!! I love the idea of doing turkey instead of the ground beef too! Yum!

We try and use ground turkey instead of ground beef as much as possible. Just a little but healthier and doesn’t change the flavor!

Looks delicious, and simple. Cant wait to add this to our dinner rotation this fall!

In cooler months we eat chili at least twice a month, using ground turkey would make a nice chance.
