    We have booked two weeks in Jan/Feb 2018. After years of travel from Canada to Central and South America, we are extremely excited to be experiencing this property and especially the location. There have been travel highs and lows through the years, but we are certain the Dunamar will surpass any expectations we might have. Riu here we come.

    We are a party of 7 people who will be travelling to the Riu Dunamar in March. Unfortunately, we have become very concerned with the negative reviews we have been reading on Tripadvisor. It would help to know that the Riu Corporation is taking these comments seriously and trying to fix the problems (elevators not working, which is scary for guests with mobility issues and the quality of the food and drinks). Any reassurance would help. Thank you.

    My goal is to stay at every RIU resort before I expire. I have just returned from RIU Ocho Rios with my wife and two visitors I invited and paid for, and will be making reservations to stay at RIU Mobay next. That will complete my stays in Jamaica.

    As a result of my fabulous experiences at RIU resorts, I’ve launched my own travel agency to invite others to visit RIU resorts also.

    We have previously enjoyed the Palace Peninsula and I was fond of the ramp into one of the pools that let me access the water in my wheelchair
    Does this hotel have a ramp into the pool? How many pools are on the property?
    We have also stayed at Caribe, Vallarta and Jalisco
    Love Chef Roque (Koko) – He is the best. Much luck . with the new hotel

    The Riu Dunamar looks great. We were due to stay here end Feb 2018 but we’re advised to move to another Riu due to a Riu Palace being constructed next door. We are now staying at the Riu Yucatan Riviera Maya. Please can you add this booking at the Riu Yucatan to my Riu Class Diamond account as it has still not been added. Thank you.

    Have a e-mail from TUI warning us of noise from the nearby construction site. If its going to be nusiance during our travels to Rui Dunamar Hotel. Why is not mentioned during on-line booking. As a loyal Rui customer, first impressions will count. The reviews of the hotel are not promising too. Also, please, please provide tea/coffee making facilities in the modern hotel 2017!!

    We are really looking forward to our two week stay at this new hotel. Having previously stayed at The Tequila, we caught the RIU bug and have visited The Palace’s in Playa Car and Puerto Vallarta a couple of times along with a long weekend in the Plaza Berlin and a two week break in Turkey.
    So will be interested in how this compares.

    Just returned from our stay at the RIU Resort. It was the most beautiful experience ever. We vacationed there for a wedding and it was everything and more than I expected. The hotel was impeccable and beautiful. What you see in the pictures is what you will see when you get there. The room are gorgeous, spacious and very clean. Not one complaint from me and I am very meticulous about cleanliness. The customer service was A1 everywhere. The food was great and the drinks were always plentiful. The wait staff was better than you could ever imagine. They were courteous, attentive and always available. Although tips and gratuities are included, they deserve an extra tip. So please set aside money for the service you receive. I would refer this hotel to all of my friends. I can’t wait to come back. Thanks for a beautiful experience…..LOVE IT !!

    I just recently saw articles about Cancun not being a safe tourist attraction anymore. Could you please tell me about the safety around this resort. We have a tripped planned in July.

    Where to Shop.. Hello My sister and I will be arriving at your Resort on the 10th of October. She is so excited it will be her first Trip out of the Country and I am happy to do this for her. We cant wait. I have read so many amazing things about this Beautiful Resort so much so that I forwent several others to visit YOU. My question is 1 of 2 where can I take her to do some shopping? I heard that there is a Market called #21 is this correct? Also would it be too much to ask if a Banner of some sort of Welcome be placed in the room more for her then Me. ( our last name is Douglas ) As mentioned we will be arriving October 10th/2018. Cheers. C U soon.. 🙂
