I am just laughing at how brainwashed all these girls are that buy her challenges thinking they're going to look like her. there's no doubt katy looks great and def works hard to stay looking great, but these hundreds or thousands of girls are straight up D-U-M-B if they're thinking they are going to look like her. none of them will ever look like her..
See AlsoAbout SeshIt's not even sustainable either.. her plans aren't focused on long term success lol just the 8 weeks to get as small as you can doing cardio like a mother and eating low ass carbs...
The gym also looks bomb HOWEVER you KNOW the price per month gonna be your first born child lol
That's not completely true. She doesn't provide a meal plan because she isn't a certified nutritionist so it would be illegal for her to do so. Instead, she advises the challenge girls to count macros. This is taken directly from her Challenge Guide:
I believe that tracking macros is the most effective way to have control over your diet. Its the only way we know EXACTLY what is going into our bodies. I encourage everyone to track macros during this Challenge, but I do understand that tracking year-round is unrealistic. Use the next 8 weeks to form healthy eating habits so you don't need to rely on counting/tracking macros your entire life. When you track, you will have a good understanding of what portion sizes your body needs, types of food your body needs, and how often you should eat for your body to perform its absolute best.
She encourages you to not be afraid of carbs. At 140 pounds looking to lose fat, my carb goals were 185g a day, which is certainly not low carb. Also, if you're cutting she suggests you do cardio 2-3x a week and only increase if needed. If you're bulking, she suggests no more than 2x a week.
I've done a couple of her challenges. I'm not a fan girl, I'm just the type of person who needs motivation and spending money on something is one way I get myself to stick to a plan, haha. After doing 2 challenges, I was able to form my own gym habits. That said, I do think it's a bit overpriced and she doesn't participate in the Facebook groups very often at all. Actually, the FB groups are super annoying as they're filled with a bunch of fan girls obsessed with "dat booty" and constantly asking the same questions over and over about Lulu leggings
I wouldn't suggest doing a challenge unless you really think you're gonna win and want the prize money, I would save $100 and buy the promos if you wanted to see what it was like. BUT.. the plan is realistic for long-term goals. I've continued to follow the plans for a little over a year now and I would have never thought I would look like this. Also, I never counted macros because I didn't want to be obsessed with food. I made conscious efforts to eat well, but I wouldn't deprive myself if I was REALLY craving it. As always, it's all about eating in moderation and being consistent with physical activity... any workout plan will work if you stick with it.
This isn't to WK her, just wanted to give a perspective from someone who's done a challenge. I will say, I found this board because I was Googling her name to see if I was the only one curious if she's on some kind of Gear now. She's seemed to really lean out in a very short amount of time and something about her face seems off.
