Lesson learned. Unless you are a bored eighth grader, skip this book. A total suspension of reality would also help to make sense of the plot.

Book 4 FULL BLAST in the Brady Hawk Series by Jack Patterson
Hawk, enjoying a ballgame, waiting for Blunt to show up, telling him, of an assignment and hope Hawk will take. Summit meeting in Prague , and the Jordanian prime minister is the target. He going to bring a speech of wanting peace and stability, on Thursday, when attempt will be made.
Hawk wanted Alex, on this Firestorm project , they were a team. Also feelings for her, someday he will have that figured out. She said she's going with Searchlight instead, why. So she could protect him. Blunt and his Firestorm have flaws, and who will replace Alex ?
For Alex, she thought her talent would be better used with Searchlight, how could she have been so wrong. A simple assignment turns into a nightmare
Another page turner, that will capture you from first page..Looking for the next one in series. Given my voluntary review and honest opinion.

The fourth volume in the Brady Hawk series finds Hawk in Prague to prevent the assassination of the Jordanian prime minister, keep the peace process on track and rescue the prime minister's daughter. Then Hawk and Alex, who is out of the office and in the field with Hawk, return to the United States to stop another terrorist plot. I love this series! Jack Patterson has created a group of interesting characters with great potential for continued growth. He writes in a rapid fire style and the story moves quickly. Patterson gets better with each book and has become one of my favorite authors. I look forward to the next installment of this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book provided by the author. The opinions are entirely my own.

Love these characters! Full Blast is Book 4 of the Brady Hawk series. Each book has had a primary situation to address with several other tiers occurring at the same time. In each book the main situation is resolved, making each book KIND OF a standalone; however, there are ongoing conflicts which are revealed little by little in each book. I would definitely say these should be read in order and are not standalones. I truly enjoy these characters. I love their dedication to our country and their determination to save as many lives as possible. I would really like to see them form a partnership of all kinds!! There is minor to moderate cursing and mature subject matters. I would absolutely recommend this book for anyone 16ish or older. I've already got the next book downloaded!

Full Blast Jack Patterson Brady Hawk, a covert operative has a lot of enemies. There is another covert agency working directly against him. Someone, rather a lot of middle eastern countries want the Jordanian minister dead. He only wants peace. Hawk is tasked with protecting the minister. Terrorists are also planning to blow up a stadium in Washington D.C.....with the Presidents blessing . Non stop action, intrigue. Betrayal...all the making of an extraordinary action thriller!!

Quick read. Wonder how long we'll get some solid answers for the whole The Chambers, Searchlight, Firestorm stuff. It appears Firestorm and Blunt are the good guys, but is he (Blunt)? Or is he just good in comparison only to the other side (so maybe still bad, just not so bad)?
What is Alex's backstory? Her mother has been hinted at a few times now. Sounds like she was a spy or assassin?
When will Alex and Hawk actually get together? (I know it happens eventually because I saw the blurb for The Phoenix Chronicles series).
Will Al Hasib be defeated?
Etc.

The next chapter in the Brady Hawk universe is here. If you haven't read this series, I would suggest you start! Great action, fast paced and brilliantly written. You don't have to start from the beginning of the series in order to follow this book. You could start here and then start from the beginning. I've enjoyed all of the books in this series thus far and I look forward to the next adventure to see what Hawk gets into/out of next.

Brady Hawk's new mission: Go to Prague to stop an assassination of Prime Minister Yaseen Abbadi. Alex gets kidnapped, then released. Blunt is on the run and assumed dead. Many different levels in this book. Hawk fights a terrorist group while struggling with his own soul. How does Alex fit into that? I love the action - lots of action.

About 40% in this got to be almost unreadable. To say you have to suspend disbelief to read this would be an understatement. Don't waste your time or money on this one - trust me. I rarely rate a book a one star - but made the exception with this contrived "thriller".

Good stories Love this authors writing style. Has a great grip on the story. This is the 4th book and glad I have a few more to go. Love Brady and his sense of humor, even during times of strife. 2 new heroes for me.

Hawk and Alex are called upon again, saving a politician and his daughter abroad and stopping a bomb threat at a packed sports venue at home. Good story with more build up for the longing run plot of deception and betrayal for Hawk.

BOLLYWOOD⭐️ Looking forward to more intimate scenes between Hawk snd Alex. When will they star in their own Bollywood scene? Do we have to wait for them to destroy all ISIS? Come on, Hawk, MAN UP!

What more can I say about this Brady Hawk series without giving away any spoilers? Brady is one bad dude. This book is another filled with many plot twists. If you are on the fence about this book do not hesitate and get it now, you won’t be disappointed.

Incredible books. Im on the 5th one. Some of the best I have read and without smutty language and explicit scenes that have little to do with the story line. Have a hard time putting these down. F Hoover

It's a good read but the middle eastern stuff is getting a little tiresome. And $5.00 for a book with less than 200 pages is a little bit much, in my opinion.

Good action, as usual, but ridiculously predictable and wildly unrealistic. Most disappointing of the first 4 books.

And Hawk Won't Quit Jack Patterson continues to plot his Brady Hawk series on multiple levels. Level 1 is Hawks's continuing fight against the terror group Al Hasib. In this book, Hawk must stop an Al Hasib plot to kill the Jordanian Prime Minister in Prague, Czech Republic and stop the group from a major terror strike in Washington. Level 2 involves rival special ops group Searchlight. Hawk doesn't trust them, but they are determined to recruit him or kill him. Level 3 affects his personal relationships and trust issues. Will he ever find out the secrets J.D. Blount, his spymaster, is hiding? How will he handle his growing interest in his partner, Alex (who comes into her own in this book)? And finally, will the return of a mysterious woman from his past somehow connect all these levels with the answers Hawk seeks? Again, the action is non-stop and the twists are compelling. I can't wait for Book 5 to continue Hawk's adventures.

Brady Hawk is back in a gripping new adventure in yet another brilliant novel by Jack Patterson. Guaranteed to please anyone who likes a good thriller and well worth reading as a stand-alone book or as part of what is an excellent series.
